DWELT · THE CAMERA THE PLACE DECIDES

Open it, shoot it.
That's all.

Dwelt is a camera that never asks you to pick a filter. It reads the coordinates, the hour and the weather where you are standing, then decides how the photograph is graded. Curated places get their own look; everywhere else is handled automatically.

How it works

  1. Open — The app reads where you are and decides the look.
  2. Shoot — What you see is what you capture.
  3. Keep — It is saved to your photo library, and shared only if you choose to.

What kind of app this is

  • There are no accounts. No sign-up, no login, and no value that identifies you.
  • Photographs never leave the device — except when you deliberately share them.
  • Location is never stored. Coordinates are sent to outside services only to look up the weather and the neighbourhood name.
  • No tracking. No advertising identifier (IDFA), and no advertising or analytics SDK.

What decides the look

  • Place — Curated places have dedicated looks; everywhere else is graded from the surroundings (city, residential, countryside, coast, mountains).
  • Hour — Sunrise and sunset are computed from coordinates and time, so this axis always works, even offline.
  • Weather — Apple WeatherKit, or Open-Meteo when WeatherKit is unavailable. If the lookup fails, the hour alone decides.
