Dwelt Community Guidelines

1. When you photograph

1. These are real places. Be considerate of residents, shopkeepers and passers-by.
2. Do not photograph or share identifiable people without their consent.
3. Respect the rules of private property and of places where photography is prohibited.
4. Non-consensual photography is a criminal offence. The app must not be used for it.

2. What not to send us

When you email a place suggestion, an example photograph or a bug report, please do not include any of the following. Anything of the kind is discarded as soon as we see it and is never published.

1. Photographs of identifiable people taken without their consent
2. Sexually explicit, violent or hateful material
3. Discrimination, harassment, insults, or attacks targeting a specific person
4. Material that includes someone else's work without permission
5. Personal data such as another person's address or contact details
6. Anything related to the sexual exploitation of children or minors

If we act on a place suggestion, we use the place, not the photograph. Using a photograph in the app or in promotional material happens only with your separate consent.

3. Reporting

If a photograph taken or shared with Dwelt infringes your rights, tell us at manager@x-ti.org. We reply within two business days.

Note that the app stores no photographs, so there is no copy for us to delete. A photograph already posted to another service (social network, messenger) must be reported through that service; we will help establish the facts where that is useful.

4. Enforcement

If the app is confirmed to have been used unlawfully — non-consensual photography, for instance — access may be restricted under section 5 of the Terms of Service, and serious cases are reported to the authorities.

5. If a community is added later

Should sharing or browsing features be added to the app, they will ship with post reporting and user blocking, and these guidelines will be revised accordingly and announced in the app.
