Picbook Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms define the conditions and procedures for using the App and the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the Company and users.

2. Service description

Picbook is a personal viewing tool that helps you extract image and video content from web pages opened in the App's in-app browser and enjoy it conveniently.

• All content shown in the App (images, videos, text, etc.) is provided by the third-party websites you visit; the Company does not create, own, or manage that content.
• The App does not copy or store content on a separate server; extraction and saving work only on your device.

3. Effect and changes to the Terms

1. These Terms take effect when posted in the App or on the Company website.
2. The Company may change the Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law. Changes will be announced in the App or on the website from seven days before the effective date, with the effective date and reason.
3. If you continue to use the service after the effective date of changed Terms, you are deemed to have accepted the changes.

4. User obligations and prohibited acts

Users must not:

1. Infringe others' intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.), portrait rights, or personal information
2. Copy, distribute, or commercially use content viewed through the App without permission
3. Interfere with the App's normal operation, or reverse engineer or tamper with it
4. Use the service in ways that violate the terms or robots exclusion protocols of the websites visited
5. Commit other acts that violate law or public order and morals

5. Intellectual property

1. All rights in the App itself (design, code, icons, documents, etc.) belong to the Company.
2. Rights in the content of third-party websites viewed through the App belong to their original rights holders, and the Company claims no rights over them.
3. Copyright responsibility for content use rests with the user. If an original rights holder requests removal, the Company may stop providing access guidance to that content.

6. Service changes and discontinuation

1. The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the service where operationally or technically necessary, with advance notice through the App or the website.
2. Certain features (such as reading mode) may stop working due to reasons beyond the Company's control, such as structural changes or access blocks on third-party websites, and the Company bears no responsibility for this.

7. Disclaimers

1. The Company does not guarantee the content, legality, or accuracy of third-party websites users visit and is not liable for damages arising from them.
2. The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, network failures, or device issues.
3. The App is recommended for ages 17 and up. Judgments and responsibility regarding content exposure on websites users access rest with the users.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, the court with jurisdiction over the Company's location shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
