These Terms govern the use of the mobile application "Wake up, Drink up: Water Alarm Clock" (the "App") provided by XTI Co.,Ltd. (주식회사 엑스티아이, the "Operator") and define the rights, duties, and responsibilities between the Operator and users.

1. Purpose

These Terms define the rights, duties, and responsibilities between the Operator and users in connection with their use of the App.

2. Service description

The App provides the following features:

  • Wake-up support through alarms at your wake-up time and water-drinking missions (camera verification, NFC tags, etc.)
  • Habit-forming gamification such as hydration records, streaks, points, and badges
  • A global counter aggregating morning hydration check-ins from users worldwide
  • Additional features available with the paid Pro subscription (unlimited alarms, unlimited snooze, streak shield, premium themes, etc.)

3. Use

  1. The App can be downloaded from the App Store. Some features are free, and some are provided through the paid subscription.
  2. Users must use the App within the scope of normal use and must not:
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or recompile the App
  • Circumvent or tamper with the App's payment or verification structure
  • Attempt to falsify aggregated data such as the global counter
  1. Users are responsible for preparing the device and network environment needed to use the App.

4. Paid subscription

  1. Pro subscription prices, periods, and free-trial conditions are shown on the App Store and the in-app subscription screen.
  2. Purchases are charged to the user's Apple ID, and the subscription auto-renews as described in the Subscription and Billing details.
  3. Refunds follow Apple's App Store refund policy.

5. Alarm notice

  1. The App's alarms run on the iOS local notification system. Depending on iOS system policies and device settings (Do Not Disturb, Focus modes, battery state, etc.), notifications may be delayed or delivered silently, and the Operator cannot fully control this.
  2. The App is not a device that guarantees waking up or water intake, and it is not a medical device. Consult a professional about health conditions, medication, and water intake decisions.
  3. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for consequential damages such as being late due to an alarm not firing.

6. Intellectual property

The intellectual property rights in the App's design, sounds, code, and other content belong to the Operator. Users may use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Service changes and termination

The Operator may change or discontinue service content where necessary, such as for feature improvement, security, or policy changes, and will give advance notice of material changes through the App or the website.

8. Amendments to the Terms

The Operator may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, and will announce the effective date and reason for amendments through the App or the website.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, the court with jurisdiction over the Operator's location shall have jurisdiction.
