Focus Koko Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how XTI Corp handles information in Focus Koko. The current release is designed as a local-first focus timer that operates without accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, subscriptions, or cloud synchronization.

1. Summary

  • Core focus data is stored on your device.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Focus history and app selections are not used for advertising or tracking.
  • The App does not provide parental, employee, or background monitoring.
  • Deleting the App or resetting local data removes the data stored by the App on that device.

2. Information processed on your device

3. Permissions

  • Screen Time / Family Controls: requested only if you choose optional app shielding for focus sessions.
  • Notifications: used only for reminders and local focus-related notifications you choose.
  • Live Activities: used to display local timer status on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island.

If permission is denied or later withdrawn, Focus Koko continues to provide a timer-only experience to the extent possible.

4. Disclosure and external processing

The current release does not upload focus history, Screen Time selections, app tokens, rewards, inventory, or Koko status to Company servers. Apple platform services may process information needed for App Store distribution, entitlement review, downloads, notification and Screen Time permissions, crash diagnostics, and App Store review under Apple's own terms and policies.

5. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you reset it in the App, delete the App's local data, or uninstall the App. Because the current release has no account or cloud synchronization, the Company cannot recover local records after they are deleted from your device.

6. Children's privacy

Focus Koko is not designed to intentionally collect children's personal information. It is a focus timer used directly by the user and is not designed as a parental-control, surveillance, or child-monitoring product.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy if App features, SDKs, operations, store requirements, or applicable law change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
